The Internal Auditing Department at Awqaf Sulaiman Al-Rajhi offers independent and objective assurance and consultancy services to assist the Awqaf’s higher management, represented by the Board of Trustees and Executive Management, fulfilling their responsibilities efficiently and effectively to achieve the strategic goals of the Awqaf.

The main objective of the internal auditing is to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal monitoring systems to achieve the following:

• Protect the Awqaf assets and properties, including the information assets.
• Verifying the credibility, integrity, and security of the financial and operational information, prepared by the Awqaf, as well as the methods used to identify, measure and classify information and reporting on them.
• Adhering to the internal standards, policies, rules and regulations.
• Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational processes.
